Coll., Oxon, 1878, educated at Repton School, a student of the Inner Temple 5 April, 1870 (then aged 21), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1874 (eldest son of Henry Edward Silvester, of Beverley, Yorks, solicitor); born 26 Oct., 1848; married 22 Aug., 1878, Agnes Graham, dau. of David George Stow, Esq., of Glasgow and Bridge of Allan.
