Simpson, Joseph Hodge, LL.B., St. John's Coll., Camb., 1863, scholar of St. Peter's Coll., Camb., a student of the Inner Temple 27 May, 1861 (then aged 21), called to the bar 6 June, 1864 (only son of Rev. Joseph Simpson, M.A., vicar of Titsworth, Beds); born 14 July, 1839; married 30 Aug., 1865, Lucinda Isabella, dau. of R. M. Pigot, Esq., M.R.C.S., of Leamington.
