Smith, Ferdinando Dudley Lea, undergrad. Christ Church, Oxon, from Eton, late capt. Queen's own Worcestershire yeomanry cavalry, high sheriff Worcester i860, J.P., D.L., J.P. Staff., a student of the Inner Temple 19 April, 1855 (then aged 20), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1858 (eldest son of Col. Smith, of the Grange, Halesowen, Salop); born 15 June, 1834; married 23 Feb., 1865, Amy Sophia, youngest dau. of late James Heath Leigh, Esq., of Belmont Hall, Cheshire, and has issue.
