Smyth, William Henry, M.A., Caius Coll., Camb., 1849, high steward of Louth, high sheriff of Lincolnshire 1882, J.P., D.L., J.P. Yorks North Riding, a student of the Inner Temple 22 Jan., 1846 (then aged 24), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1849 (eldest son of Rev. William Smyth, of Elkington, co. Linc.); born 21 March, 1821; married 10 April, 1849, Sarah Anne, dau. of late Rev. John Sargeaunt rector of Stanwick, and has issue.
