London Univ. 1859, B.A. 1856, and a member of Convocation, joint editor of Frend and Ware's Railway Precedents, a student of Lincoln's Inn 2 May, 1860 (then aged 22), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1863 (5th son of John Sturges, Esq., late of London, dec.); born , 1838; married 8 July, 1862, Emma, only dau. of Benjamin Gray, Esq., of London.
