Thicknesse, Ralph Thicknesse, B.A., Christ Church, Oxon (1st class honours), 1878, practises in the Lancaster Chancery Court, author of A Treatise on the Married Women's Property Act 1882 and of A Digest of Law of Husband and Wife 1884, a student of the Inner Temple 14 Jan., 1878, went to Lincoln's Inn 4 Nov., 1880, where he was called to the bar 26 Jan., 1881 (eldest son of Ven. Francis Henry Thicknesse, D.D., archdeacon of Northampton); born 25 Sept., 1856; unmarried.
