Thomas, David Morgan, a member of the Western circuit, contested Barnstaple 1868, one of the first projectors of the university for Wales, founded the first Welsh daily paper, a student of the Inner Temple 8 July, 1859 (then aged 18), called to the bar 11 June, 1862 (2nd son of Rev. David Thomas, D.D., of Brixton, Surrey); born 8 Dec., 1841; married 25 Feb., 1869, Alice, 2nd dau. of Cornelius Ruck, of London.
