Thompson, Thomas Perronet Edward, M.A., Queen's Coll., Camb., 1838, joint judge of county courts (circuit No. 6) since March, 1872, recorder of Scarborough Jan. to March, 1872, J.P. Lancashire, a student of Lincoln's Inn 20 April, 1835 (then aged 21), called to the bar 23 Nov., 1838 (son of Genl. T. Perronet Thompson, M.A., F.R.S., M.P. Hull 1835–7 and Bradford 1847–52 and 1857–9); born 4 May, 1813; married 17 March, 1846, Ellen Mary, eldest dau. of Edward James, Esq., of Totnes.
