Tidswell, Robert Ingham, M.A. Oriel Coll., Oxon, a member of the Western circuit, a student of Lincoln's Inn 15 April, 1867 (then aged 20), called to the bar 6 June, 1871 (eldest son of Robert Tidswell, late of Denmark Hill, Surrey, merchant, dec.); born 21 May, 1846; married 11 April, 1883, Alice, dau. of Rev. Maurice W. F. St. John, vicar of Kempsford, co. Glouc. (see Foster's Peerage, V. Bolingbroke).
