Vane, Henry de Vere, B.A., Brasenose Coll., Oxon, 1876, from Eton, late lieut. Northampton and Rutland militia, a clerk in Charity Commission, a student of the Inner Temple 12 Jan., 1876 (then aged 21), called to the bar 27 Jan., 1879 (eldest son of Sir Henry Morgan Vane, bar.-at-law, etc.); born 10 May, 1854; married 28 June, 1881, Lady Catherine Sarah Cecil, 3rd dau. of William Alleyne, 3rd marquis of Exeter, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, D. Cleveland).
