Walpole, Charles George, M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1874, from Eton, president of district court Cyprus since 1882, went the Eastern circuit, author of Alphabetical Synopsis of the Turkish Criminal Code, A Short History of Ireland, Rubric of the Common Law, a student of the Inner Temple 22 Jan., 1870 (then aged 21), called to the bar 27 Jan., 1873 (only son of Charles Walpole, Esq., C.B., of Broadford, Cobham, Surrey); born 7 Sept., 1848; married 18 Aug., 1877, Maria Elizabeth, 2nd dau. of Henry Forde, Esq., of Tenby, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, E. Orford).
