Yates, William, M.A., Emmanuel Coll., Camb., 1843, a member of the Western circuit, a student of Lincoln's Inn 17 Oct., 1839 (then aged 23), called to the bar 7 May, 1844 (youngest son of Rev. Dr. Yates, late chaplain to Royal Hospital, Chelsea, dec.); born Sept., 1816; married 1 July, 1847, Mary Cowland, eldest surviving dau. of late James Arundell, Esq.; she died , 1866; he married 2ndly, , , Henrietta, 2nd dau. of Rev. Peter Aubertin, rector of Chipstead, Surrey.
