Section1.This Act shall be called the "Chulalongkorn University Act, 2477 Buddhist Era".
Section2.This Act shall come into force from the day of its publication in the Royal Gazette onwards.
Section3.All other laws, regulations, and rules whose provisions are contrary or repugnant to the provisions of this Act shall be repealed.
Section4.Chulalongkorn University shall be an institution of education and research in all sciences, aiming to promote advanced professions and maintain the culture of the Nation.
Section5.This University shall be divided into faculties, each divided into sections. However, if any section cannot join other sections in forming a faculty, it can be established as an independent section.
Establishment or dissolution of a faculty or section shall only be effected by an Act.
