Announcement of the Office of the Constitutional Court
Re: Ruling of the Constitutional Court declaring a legal provision contrary or repugnant to the Constitution
The Constitutional Court has given the Ruling No 5/2556 dated 16 May 2556 declaring that section 74 of the Copyright Act, 2537 BE, has a problem of constitutionality, according to paragraph 2 of section 39 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, 2550 Buddhist Era.
As a result, section 74 of the Copyright Act, 2537 BE, is no longer applicable, according to section 6 of the Constitution.
This Announcement is therefore made for general information.
