Emergency Decree
on Public Administration in State of Emergency,
2548 BE

Being the 60th year of the present reign
Phra Bat Somdet Phra Paramin Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej gives a great royal command by which He orders with His pleasure that it be announced as follows:
Whereas it is appropriate to improve the law on public administration in state of emergency;
[Whereas] this Emergency Decree contains certain provisions relating to the restriction of personal rights and freedoms, which section 29 together with section 31, section 35, section 36, section 37, section 39, section 44, section 48, section 50, and section 51 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand permits to the done through the power under a legal provision;
Therefore, by virtue of the power under the stipulations of section 218 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, He orders with His gracious pleasure that the following Emergency Decree be enacted:
Section1.This Emergency Decree is called the "Emergency Decree on Public Administration in State of Emergency, 2548 BE".
Section2.This Emergency Decree shall come into force from the day following the day of its publication in the Royal Gazette onwards.
