Chaophraya Thammasak stated: “Linguistically, the word pramuk already denotes supremacy. Muk means ‘front’. Listen to the title [and one would understand that] it denotes supremacy, because, as commented by the President of the Constitution Drafting Subcommittee, there cannot be more than one pramuk. Also, this term of pramuk, when translated in line with the vocabulary, only refers to one person. It does not require any adjective to indicate that pramuk is superior or inferior.”
