cause the outer world to misunderstand that the Thai people favour dictatorship. Not only contrary and adverse to the true sentiment of the Thai people, all these [actions] are also injurious to the Nation.
Thus, in order to have [every] thing go in line with the constitutional process, the Government has humbly made submission to His Gracious Majesty, requesting the Great Divine Monarch to dissolve the House of People's Representatives according to section 35 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, so that the Members of the present House of People's Representatives would be discharged from their functions and the people would be given an opportunity to elect their own representatives anew per the Royal Decree already published.
