CHAPTER 133.
EXCESSIVE INTEREST TAKING DECLARED A MISDEMEANOR,
AN ACT Making the Taking of Usury a Misdemeanor.
§ 1. Misdemeanor.] Every person who directly or indirectly receives any interext, discount or consideration upon the loan or forbearance of any money, goods or things in action greater than is allowed by law is guilty of a misdemeanor.
§ 2. Repeal.] All acts or parts of acts in conflict with the provisions of this act are hereby repealed.
§ 3. Effect—when.] This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
