tnd in 1890-91 provided with a fine staircase. In the itreet Burgmauer stands the supreme court for the Rhine )rovince, and off the street are the post office (1893), a ine early Gothic building, and the Imperial Bank (1897), dso in the early Gothic style. Farther west is the nunicipal library and archives (1894-97), also Gothic.
