Proposed rerouting begins on present route south of Glen Burnie over a recently completed controlled access divided highway into Baltimore utilizing a part of the Baltimore Beltway and the Washington-Baltimore Expressway, then over city streets to junction with U.S. 1 on North Avenue. Present marked U.S. 1 would then become the Business Route. |

Preset U.S. Route 322 through West Chester is to be marked as Business Route. |
