Relocation of U.S. Route 220 and Establishment of U.S. Route 220 Business
APPROVED
Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 220 and I-64 west of Clifton Forge, then easterly over I-64 to the intersection of present U.S. Route 60 east of Clifton Forge, then southerly over U.S. Route 60 to the intersection of U.S. Route 220 southeast of Clifton Forge. Redesignate present U.S. Route 220 between these points as U.S. Route 220 Business.
WISCONSIN
Extension of I-43
APPROVED
Beginning at the present terminous of I-43 in Milwaukee, then southerly over I-94 to the intersection of I-894, then westerly over I-894 to the intersection of State Route 15 in Milwaukee County, then southwesterly over S.R. 15 to the intersection of I-90 at Beloit.
ALABAMA-GEORGIA
Relocation at U.S. Route 80
APPROVED
Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 80 and U.S. Route 280 in Phenix City, Alabama, then northerly over U.S. Route 280 or 0.9 miles to the intersection of a new facility, then northeasterly over the new facility or 11.2 miles to the intersection to present U.S. 80 in northeast Columbus.
GEORGIA
Establishment of Temporary U.S. Route 80
APPROVED
Beginning at the interaction at present U.S. Route 80 and U.S. Route 27 in Columbus, Georgia, then westerly over State Road 85 to the Alabama-Goergia State line. This route will serve as a temporary routing until the relocation of U.S. Route 80 is complete.
