Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 78 and State Route 10 Loop on the east side at Athens, then southwesterly and westerly over S.R. 10 to the intersection of present U.S. Route 78 west of Athens. Designate present U.S. Route 78 between these points as U.S. Route 78 Business.
ILLINOIS
Establishment of I-355
APPROVED SUBJECT TO FHWA CONCURRENCE
Beginning at the intersection of I-290 and State Route 53 west of Chicago, than southerly over a facility begin constructed to the intersection of I-55 at Bolingbrook.
MASSACHUSETTS
Relocation of U.S. Route 1

Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 1 and I-95 at Dedham, then southeasterly over I-95 to the intersection of I-93 at Canton, then easterly and northerly over I-93 to the intersection of present U.S. Route 1 in Boston.
MICHIGAN
Extension of I-696

Beginning at the present terminus of I-696 at the intersection of I-75 and a facility being constructed at Hazel Park, then westerly over the new facility to the intersection of U.S. Route 24 and I-696 in Southfield.
