MOTHER STORIES

Miss Jane had a bag, and a mouse was
in it,
She opened the bag, he was out in a
minute;
The cat saw him jump and run under the
table,
And the dog said, "Catch him, puss, as soon
as you're able."

Pussy-cat, pussy-cat,
Where have you been?
I've been to London
To look at the Queen.
Pussy-cat, pussy-cat,
What did you there?
I frightened a little mouse
Under the chair.

Sing, sing, what shall I sing?
Cat's run away with the pudding-string!
Do, do, what shall I do?
The cat has bitten it quite in two.
