The narrator gives betle to the Rani, who thence con- ceives, and bears a son, for whom Satyendra obtains by force of arms the daughter of the Sinhala Raja. The horse of the Prince whilst riding kicks the son of an old woman who dies Satyendra after in- vestigating the case, orders his own son to be be- headed, when Siva appears, and takes the Raja to his own region as the reward of his piety and jus" tice.
