כלכל (b. h.; כלל, כול) [to surround,] 1) to provide with everythiug; to sustain. Naz. 3a, v. כלכול. Ber. 58b אתכם וכ׳ וכ׳ בדין and provided for you (while alive) in justice, and gathered you in justice. -- 2) (cmp. כלילא) to raise a crown of hair, to be a nazir. Naz. I, 1 מכלכל הריני 1 will grow a crown (as a substitute for, 'l will be a nagifm', v. כינוי). Y. ib.551b topהמכלכלי מן הריני כאומר as if he said, Iwwill be one of those who wear a crown of hair. --Tosef. Nidd. VI, 6; Nidd. 52b שתכלכל עד (euphem.) until she has a full growth of hair (around the pudenda). --33) denom. of כלי) to arm, fit out. Midr. Till. to Ps.
