נזירות, נזזירה f. (denom. of נזיר or נזר) abstinence, esp. the Naearitte's vow, nazariteship. Sifra Emor, ch. III, Par. 4 (ref. to Lev. XXII, 2 וינזרו) הפרשה אלא נזירה אין the verb naar means to abstain (guard); Num. R. s. 10 פרישות אלא . נזירות אכן; Yalk. Lev. 632; Sifra l. c. הא וכ׳ נוירות אין. Num. R. s. 10 בתוך נזירות עליו קובע אדם נזירתו a person may take the Nazarite's vow within the time of his vow. Naz.
