(הלך] going, thrusting forward, ומיתנא ל׳ thrusting forward and pulling home, a bolt or pin attached to a cord for fastening the panniers, barrels &c. which hang down on each side of the beast of burden. Sabb. 102a ומ׳ לל׳ it applies to thrusting a bolt which you can pull back by the cord in your hand; [Rashi reads; מתבא rope.] --- Ib. 154b בל׳ aא (Ar. some ed. בליכאתא pl.) or when the burdens are fastened with a bolt (which you can pull out without touching the animal).
