*פרסתקי m. pl. (v. פרדסקין) boxes, caskets used as bird's nests. Hull..141b ותפשה פ רבא לה אהדר(Ms. M.פרסקי; Ms. R. 2 פרקיקי or פרסקי; Ms. F. פרטקיה; v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note) R. had boxes set around it (the bird that he let fy), and then caught it.

פרע (b. h; cmp. פרם, פרס) 1) to tear, destroy; to loosen, disarrange; to neglect the hair. Pesik. R. s. 294304430 (ed. Pr. p. 139b), v. רפא. Sot. III, 8 פורעת . . . פורע האיש, v. פרם. Sifra Emor, ch. I, Par. 2 וכ׳ פורעים אדם שבני כדרך in the same way that ordinary men (in mourmning) neglect their hair and tear their garments; a. fr. - 2) to uncover. Ib. (ref. to Lev.
