רהיטני f. (v. preced. wds.) 1) a tool for planing wood &c. (so named from the grooves in which it runs), chisel, differ. fr. מגירה. Tosef. Kel. B. Bath. II, 2. Tosef. B. Kam. XI, 15; B. Kam. 119b וכ׳ הר׳ ומתחת . . . היוצא chips falling from under the borer and the chisel belong to the carpenter. - 2) (cmp. bbr~p a. ם~mos) a tool for shaשing hair, an instrument with which the hairs are removed singly, differ. fr. תער.
