Burgh-steads bursten,
Giants' work tumbleth.
Roofs are wrenched.
Towers totter.
Bereft of rune-gates.
Smoke is on the plaster,
Scarred the shower-burghs,
Shorn and shattered,
By eld under-eaten.
Earth's grip haveth
