Be Thou, O Christ the sinner's stay,
Though Heav'n and earth shall pass away.

HYMN 113.

The billows swell, the winds are high,
Clouds overcast the wintry sky;
Out of the depths to Thee we call;
Our fears are great, our strength is small.

Oh! gracious God, Thy part perform,
And guide and guard us through the storm,
Defend us from each threat'ning ill,
Control the waves, say "peace, be still!"

Amidst the raging of the sea,
Our souls still hang their hope on Thee;
Thy constant love and faithful care
Support, and save us from despair.

HYMN 114.

The God of Abraham praise,
Who reigns enthron'd above;
Ancient of everlasting days,
And God of love;
Jehovah! great I AM!
By earth and Heav'n confess'd;
I bow, and bless Thy sacred Name,
For ever blessed.

The God of Abraham praise,
At whose supreme command,
From earth I rise, and seek the joys

At His right hand.
