NURSERY JINGLES

XXVIII.

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water,
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.

XXIX.

The man in the moon
Came tumbling down,
And asked his way to Norwich,
The man of the south
He burnt his mouth
By eating hot pease porridge.

XXX.

Little Poll Parrot
Sat up in a garret,
Eating toast and tea.
A little brown mouse
Jumped into the house
And stole it all away.

XXXI.

See saw, Marjory Daw,
She sold her bed to lie upon straw,
Was not she a nasty slut
To sell her bed and lie in the dirt.
