match. Turn under the edges of the waist¬ band a seam’s width, fold the waistband through the center and press. (See Fig. 18.) Insert the lower edge of the blouse between the two thicknesses of the waistband and stitch as shown in Fig. 19. Sew buttons to the waistband at regular intervals, spacing them to match the button¬ holes in the trousers. (See Fig. 20.) Finish the front closing of the blouse with buttons and buttonholes.
