In the third they had Sight of Land, but could not get to it.The third and laſt Expedition of this glorious King was only of two Ships, commanded by Captain Carſten Richards, a Holſtenian by Birth; he ſpied the Land and its high and craggy Rocks afar off, but could not come near it, on Account of the Ice; and ſo, after he had loſt his Labour, he returned home.
