Huile muscelline. Muske oyle; an oyle extracted from Muske, and other aromatick Simples; also, oyle of Ben; oyle drawne from the Nut, or fruit called Ben.
Muschebout. as Mouschebout. Muscle: m. The great sea Muskle, or horse Muskle; also, a (fleshie) Muskle; the instrument of voluntarie motion, compounded of sinewes, veines, arteries, tennons, and flesh, and hauing a skin peculiar to it selfe.

Muscule. Veine mus. See Veine. Musculeux: m. euse: f. Brawnie, fleshie, musculous, full of Muskles. Veine musculeuse. Looke Veine. Musculosité: f. A musculous, or fleshie substance; a brawnie stiffnesse, hardnesse, or fullnesse of flesh.
Muse: f. One of the nine Muses; also, a Muse, Poeticall conceit, Vaine, Poeme, or Song; also, as Musardie; also, Adams Appletree; also, as Toffe. Donner la muse à. To amuse, or put into dumpes; to driue into a browne studie; to make a man pawse, or studie, on the matter. Faire sa muse. A male Deere to lift vp his muzzle after he hath smelt at the females nature.
Museau: m. The muzzle, snowt, or nose of a beast.
Museleux: m. euse: f. Muzzelling, tying vp the muzzle, closing the nose, or snowt.
Muselier: m. ere: f. as Museleux. Museliere: f. A muzzle; also, the nose-band of a bridle; also, the prouender-bag that (vsually) hangs at a Mules nose as he trauels; also, a Barnacle for an vnrulie horses nose.
Musequin: m. A little dogs prettie snowt; also, an effeminate, or perfumed Courtier, that makes loue to euerie wench he accompanies; also, a place to muse in, or gaze out at, as an open window, &c.
Muser. To muse, dreame, studie, bethinke himselfe of; to pawse, or linger about a matter. Il muse quelque part. He stayes somewhere, or other. Faire muser. To amuse, put into a dumpe, driue into a studie; to deferre, delay, driue off, make stay his leisure, or daunce attendance on him. Tandis que le loup muse la brebis entre au bois: Pro. While the Wolfe muses the Sheepe escapes; or, as in Loup. Tel cuide aimer qui muse: Pro. Some meane to loue who doe but loose their labour; or, some think they loue, and yet but loose their labor.

Musette: f. A little Bag-pipe; or (more properly) as Vielle; also, the Shrew-mouse.

Musicien: m. A Musician; a profeßor of Musicke. Les mauvais musiciens ne sont iamais ennuyeux à eux mesmes: Pro. Few men grow wearie of their owne absurdities; few men distast their owne harsh imperfections.

Musimone. A beast thats bodied like a Sheepe, and coated like a Goat. ¶Rab. Musique: f. Musicke, melodie, harmonie. Vn Asne n'entend rien en musique: Pro. An Asse hath little skill in harmonie.
Musnier: m. A Miller; also, a Pollard, or Cheuin; also, a Millers thumbe.
D'Evesque devenir musnier. To become of rich poore, of noble base, of venerable miserable; to fall from a high estate to a low one; (The originall was, Devenir
d'Evesque Aumosnier; but Time (and perhaps Reason) hath changed Aumosnier into Musnier.)

Musqueux: m. euse: f. Full of Muske; also, as Mucqueux. Mussale: f. A kind of shell-fish that somewhat resembles a Muskle.
Musse: f. A secret corner, priuie hoord, hiding hole; an odd nooke to lay a thing out of the way in.
Mussé: m. ée: f. Hidden, concealed, kept close, conueyed out of the way; also, lurking, skowking, squat, layed close.
Musser. To hide, conceale, keepe close, lay out of the way; also, to lurke, skowke, or squat in a corner.
Mussette: f. A little hole, corner, or hoord to hide things in.

Mut: m. as Mussette. Mut. as Muet; Dumbe; whence; Chiens muts. A kind of white hounds, which neuer call on a change; also, lyne-hounds; tearmed otherwise, Limiers de mut. Mutation: f. A mutation, change, alteration; changing; exchanging; also, a shadowing with colours of a different kind; Looke Nuage. Mute. Looke Meute. Mutilation: f. A mutilation, mayming; diminution; the cutting of a principall member from the bodie.
Mutilé: m. ée: f. Mutilated, lamed, maymed; also, defectiue, imperfect, wanting a principall member.
Mutiler. To mutilate, mayme, lame; to make imperfect, or defectiue; to cut off, diminish, or take away a part of.
Mutin: m. ine: f. Mutinous, tumultuous, turbulent, vnquiet, stirring, seditious, factious. Homme mutin, brusque Roussin, flascon de Vin, prennent tost fin: Pro. Looke Homme. Mutinateur: m. A mutiner; a raiser of broyles, beginner of stirres, breeder of tumults; a fire-brand of sedition.
