Truly the promises of God are given for our encouragement; they are yea and amen, in Christ Jesus; they are a covert from the storm, a shelter from the heat, a sure retreat for the weary and way worn traveller.
Many are the trials and temptations to which we are exposed in this vale of tears, but in heaven we shall be freed from the bondage of sin.
