Faith took the captive by the hand, And led her fromPolion's ground.

Together- they rejoiced,

To Canaan they were bound.

As tivey were walking,

Their talk it was love, Aicribing all the honor,

To the powers above*

Confidence in Cxi,

UNTO my God I made my moan] He granted my requeft, Jefus to me returned In him I feel to reft.

Thanks be to God my Saviour he,

I tafte his fwe ;tefl love, He bore my fius on Calvary,

Now pleads for me above.

Jefus to thee, I give my ofe, With thy Father now to plead,

Nor do 1 doubt thy Father's grace. He's a friend in time of need.
