prayer was rejected;*[1] and he obtained from the Government a Permanent Cowle, or Sunnad-Mulk-et-Istimirar, dated 21st October, 1803. He formed many agraharams, established chattrams at Rajam and Bobbili, and did many other charitable acts. He dug several tanks, of which Rangaraya Sagaram is the largest.
