Thomas Cheney of Brͣmblehanger in the ꝑish of Luton in the County
of Bedf̃ Esq. sendeth greeting in ouͬ Lord God everlasting knowe
ye yͭ I the sayd Thomas Chenye at the request of myne vncle John
Cheney of Chesham Boyse in the County of Buck. Esq., & in
Consciderac̃on of one hundreth poundꝭ of good & Lawfull money of
England to me payd at thensealing of this p̃ntꝭ writing by the sayd
John Cheney & for the better relefe of the pore people inhabiting &
Dwelling wthin the townes of Chesham Agmondisham & Draiton
Bauchampe in the said County of Buck; haue geven granted & by
