Sandes Nicholas West Francis Cheney Henry Cheney Thomas Ashfeild Roberte Caloner John Lawton their heirs or assignes to the vse aforesaid fully contented satisfied & payd. And furthurmore Knowe yee me the sayd Thomas Cheney to haue put the sayd Myles Sand nicholas West Francis Cheney Henry Cheney Thomas Ashfeild Robert Caloner & John Lawton & every of there heirs & assignes in full and peacable posession of the sayd yerely rent of Fyve pound by the Delivery of iiijd vnto the said John Lawton in the name of all the rest In witnes where of I the above named Thomas Cheny to this psente graunt have set my hand & seale the one and Twentith Day of November in the xxth yere of the reigne of o sovereigne Ladie Elizabeth by the grace of God of England France & Ireland Quene Defend of the Fayth &c. Provyded alvays that the pson of the said Thomas Cheney shall not be charged wth any such rente or Rent as is aforesaid as is agreed the Day & yere above written

The true intent vse & meang of this sent grant herevnto annexed is as hereafter in this prsente sedule is menconed and none other that is to say that the wthin named Esquiers gentlemen & others to whome the yerely rent of Fyve pound menced in the said graunt is given & their heirs & assies for ever shall stand seised of the sayd yerely rente of five pound to the onely vse & behoof of the poore people inhabiting & Dwelling in the wthin named Townes of Chesham Agmondish & Drayton Beauchampe, that is to witt only to such of the said poore people as are good & godly in living & haue most need of the releiff. & Furthur the true meing of this sent graunt is such that when and as often as all the said Esquiers gentlemen & others to whome this sent graunte of the said Fyve pound is made shall Depart from this psent[1] lyfe saving two of them, that then the said two over living shall graunte the said yerely rente over vnto fyve or six other sons & to their heirs to the vses aforesayd & to none other vses intent &
