Dear Friend,
I Have a ſtrange Story of a cloſs Intimate of my own, who hath been blind ſix Years, and who bath had many Day's Communion with God in the Days of his Affliction, but of late has had ſtrange Apparitions, which I wrote from his own Mouth, and ſent them to my own Son in the Pariſh of Paiſley, to whom I wrote to give them to you; and when you have read them, ſend me your Mind about them. I add no more at preſent, but reſis your affectionate Friend,
