Hart Hall, matric. 10 Sept., 1634, aged 18; B.A. from Magdalen Coll., Cambridge, 1637-8, served in the wars in Brabant, Scotland, and Ireland, and at the battle of Marston Moor; poet laureat to Oliver, the protector, compiled The Tombs, Monuments, &c., of St. Paul's Cathedral; died in the Old Bailey 2 April, 1693.
