Richard, of Carleton in Morland, Yorks); educated at Douay college, turned protestant, made a gentleman in ordinary to Prince Charles, knighted 13 Sept., 1642, gent. usher to Charles II.; died 10 or 11 July, 1669, buried in Westminster abbey.
