In the comptes-rendu of October 10, 1906, of the Imperial Academy of Vienna, Professor J. Loserth published a report on his investigations in the archives of Hungary, Styria, and Croatia, undertaken in con- nection with the publication of the second part of his Aktcn und Kor- rcspondcnccn zur Gcschichtc dcr Gcgcnreformation in Inncr-Ostcrrcich untcr Ferdinand II. The first part of the new publication of the Commission for the Modern History of Austria, Archivalicn zur ncucrcn Geschichte Ostcr- rcichs (Vienna, Holzhausen, pp. vi, 113), contains notices of the private archives of the noble houses of Bohemia. J.
