The social movement is set in motion by this need, though it does not distinctly understand the impulse. The social move- ment is thus inevitable, though not yet wholly intelligent. It is respectable, though its manifestations are not yet altogether dig- nified. It deserves the study of all who love truth. It deserves the sympathy and the wise cooperation of all who love their kind.
