THYRSIS.
Why then not dare to take against her will
That which however grievous to her at first,
Will, when 'tis taken, be at last, at last,
Both sweet and dear to her?

AMYNTAS.
Ah, Thyrsis, love
Must answer for me. At my heart he speaks,
At my heart's core; but I cannot repeat it.
Custom has made thee talk of love too lightly.
Thou art too used in art, to talk of love.
What ties my heart, ties up my tongue.

THYRSIS.

Not go then?

AMYNTAS.
Yes, I will; but not where thou
Would'st have me go.
