Santi went to the spot where Jivananda lay con- cealed and informed him of the state of affairs. Jiva- nanda said : " Then I shall instantly go to warn Mahendra ; you better go and inform Satyananda. Go on horseback, so that the Master mav be informed of it earl)'." And the two started off in opposite direc- tions. Needless to say, Santi was now transformed into Nabinananda.
