Cam O'Clery, from the year 1281 to 1537; the Book of Maoilin Oge Mac Bruadin from the year 1588 to 1603; and the Book of Lughaigh O'Clery, from 1586 to 1602. All those books we have seen in the hands of the antiquaries who have been the compilers of the present work; together with other records too numerous to be mentioned. In proof of what we have here set forth, we have hereunto annexed our signs manual, in the Convent of Donegal, on the 10th day of August, in the year of our Lord 1636.
