side, and splayed within. The inner wall is divided by vaulting shafts into wide and narrow bays, the wide ones come opposite the windows, and are filled with the inner window arches. These in the lower part are ornamented with a kind of nail-head or indented moulding, and have banded shafts, on the capitals of which rest the bases of the arches, which are stilted.
