Maſter Malſter,

Hark you brother John. you know you are to appear again to make anſwer for yourſelf; therefore I would adviſe you to provide ſome honeſt men to ſpeak for you, or elſe you will be in great danger of loſing your head and then we are all undone.

Sir John Barleycorn:

O brother Malt take you no care for me, for my part I do not fear but I ſhall have enough to ſpeak for me; no man in the nation is better beloved than I am, therefore welcome luck, live or die I fear nothing ſo fare you well for this time.
